It's All About the Sound...
To be fair, I must first admit that I recorded this video on tape from
BET when it first aired. I have watched it many times, as I am a huge fan of Keiko Matsui's music. She has always surrounded herself with talented professionals who create her special brand of music with razor-sharp precision. This DVD is all about the sound: namely DTS and Dolby Digital Surround. This recording was done in a studio with a live audience. The surround mixes give me goosebumps every time! I personally prefer the DTS mix to the Dolby Digital. But they are both light years ahead of the stereo mix I had been listening to on tape. The music selection represents career highs, and features "Whisper from the Mirror" (her most-recent release at the time.) That disc was mastered in HDCD and has gorgeous, pristine sound. The DTS mix of the title cut on the DVD is of the same quality. I can't recommend it enough!

Another Quality Product from APC
2 of 2 found this helpful I have used APC Surge Protectors for years, and I can vouch for the quality and reliability. This is my first wall-mount model and I am quite pleased. I replaced a unit from another company that got fried when I experienced a short in the cord of my vacuum cleaner. The Belkin was a good unit, but all the outlets were on the face of the unit. When everything was plugged in, I could not place furniture close to the wall. I like the design of this APC much better, as the outlets are located on the sides. In spite of this, the unit has a compact form-factor. There is a similar model available with USB outlets, if you have the need.
