Great amp for the price and quality!

There are several who bash BOSS...I’m not one of them. They must be installing them wrong or pushing them past their limits. I had a RIOT 1100 in another vehicle and now I have this one. This amp is powerful, clean (no engine whine or hiss at low volumes), has never went into protection mode. Sure, it gets warm when pushed, but that’s typical of AB amps. I highly recommend this amp for budget systems, although it really performs better than many expensive amps. I’m pushing (2) 6X9’s and a 10” ported sub and this amp performs well over my expectations.
