Honeywell RTH6580WF Wi-Fi 7-Day Programmable Thermostat

Great value

This is my fourth Honeywell WiFi thermostat and I am really happy with this unit. It came with all of the manuals and mounting hardware included with the retail version. This price at $40, was half of what a new unit cost and works just as well. No issues registering the unit. Great value and it arrived quickly.

Great machine at a great price

Replacing a Lenovo IdeaCenter Q180 mini that had a celeron processor and 4GB RAM. The i7 is so much faster and much more stable than the old machine that was processor and RAM constrained. The mini tower not as small as the Q180, that was bolted on the back of the monitor, but having a CD ROM built-in is better than the usb CD we used in the past. System has numerous USB ports on the front and the back. I added a WiFi network card and the machine came right up. Combine this processor with a SSD and you won't be disappointed. We use this for light computing for for the kids and sometimes internet search and with windows 10. I was looking to build a machine, but a comparable new desktop with an i7 were $400-$800 and this was a huge savings and is a big upgrade for our kitchen computer. I highly recommend this company as they shipped the equipment super fast and the unit was well packaged. I will look for them if I need a new machine in the future.

Seamless transition from my v2 Hue Hub

When I connected the hub to my network it detected my prior hub and transferred the settings to the new hub. If you make a mistake simply use the reset button on the NEW hub and then connect it to the network to trigger the migration of the settings to the new hub. You need access to both of the hubs (to press the connect button), the app, and both hubs need to be on the same network segment . Now that I look at it if you need a bulb or two then buying the white bulbs with the hub for $50 is a great deal as each bulb is $15 retail and the hubs run $45. Hub works beautifully. It does not like my GE smart bulbs nor my German controlled led strip light connector but it does control them.
