Always a good boot!
I have always had great luck with the U/A lineup of tactical boots. I've had at least 7 pair in all variations but all of them were the Valsetz series.
I've only had the new ones for a week or so but they feel good and I particularly like the side-zip option and waterproof options.
I expect these new ones to perform just as well as the others.

Over-the-calf, stay up comfort.
I'm tough on socks. I should say that my foot gear is tough on socks. Duty boots, military style, 8 inch. I fell in love with the Gold Toe brand after transferring OUT of admin and INTO the patrol unit. The run-of-the-mill, Wal Mart socks just didn't hold up. They wore out far too quickly and provided absolutely NO comfort or padding. Gold Toe changed all of that and I've been hooked ever since. Retired after 28 years and still buy at least 3 pair per year. Great for hunting boots too! I won't buy any other brand!

Gold Toe all the way!
I only buy Gold Toe socks. Ankle socks, crew socks, no-show socks and full length, over the calf socks. Gold Toe sets the standard for superior sock performance and comfort!
