Very easy to use, just trust the guide combs
1 of 1 found this helpful Tried a self-cut with this device. The vacuum works very well - I had put down a towel to catch any stray hair but couldn't find any. It's been 2 1/2 month since my last cut. Now that barbers are off-line I decided to get this unit because it's got a nice selection of guides and the vacuum feature. The power cord is very long, so maneuvering is not hampered.
A bit tricky doing the cut on myself. Looking in a mirror. :) The longest length hair guide is 1 inch and I usually prefer close to 2 in on top. Managed to do a decent cut. The side combs will cut your hair very short around your ear, so be careful. About a half-hour of fiddling around.
Overall I would definitely reccomend this hair cutting kit.
