Plant Them Deep: another good Thurlo read!
I purchased this book because I have thoroughly enjoyed the Ella Clah series by the Thurlos. Plant Them Deep features Ella's mother, a modern-day Navajo traditionalist, at her finest. Readers who enjoy the writings of the late Tony Hillerman, J.A. Jance, and Michael McGarrity will enjoy this book as well as the others in Thurlo's series that are set in the Southwest.

    Up and running again!
When I noticed that my fuel tank grommet was cracked, I looked for OEM parts on eBay since we don't have a local dealer. This was just what I needed, and the included instructions made installation easy. The hardest part was getting the grommet pressed into the tank: try WD-40 as we did.

The latest by Michael McGarrity: Death Song
I bought this because I like McGarrity's characters and style and because I have read each of his other Kevin Kearney books. This was a good enough read, but I liked it a bit less than some other books in the series. The central character position, to me, was split between Kearney and his son Clayton, who is also in law enforcement. Too many characters' emotions to keep track of!
