THE BEST CHARGING CABLE I'VE EVER OWNED!
1 of 1 found this helpful I will never buy a generic, unbranded charging cable again. This authentic Samsung USB 3.0 Charging & Data Sync Cable Model DQ11Y1WE fits my Galaxy S5 like a glove! It plugs in tightly, there's no port jiggle and it transfers current, data and files like a dream. You can even feel the quality. It has a nice, thick, well-insulated wire and sturdy connector ends. There's nothing like the real thing.

I've Tried Others. OtterBox is Still THE BEST!
No matter how many "thin," more trendy and stylish phone protection cases I try, I keep coming back to OtterBox. OtterBox gives me peace of mind. I KNOW that my expensive Smartphone is going to be fine inside an OtterBox Defender Series Case. The case does its job — extremely well. I learned that from experience. Not only have I dropped my phone face-down on a hard surface, I've drop-kicked it! Inside my OtterBox Defender Case, it was as if nothing happened. A mere shell-style case and tempered glass shield cannot offer comparable protection. They're not even close.
The OtterBox Defender is truly THE BEST brand and style of case, unless you plan to go in or near water. For wet environments, use the OtterBox Preserver Series of cases.
I love my OtterBox Pink Realtree Camo Case. It's both rugged and feminine, tough and stylish. My Samsung Galaxy S5 looks like a million dollars inside it. But, more importantly, I know its safe from life's normal, everyday use hazards. Until someone invents a dynamite-proof case made of Kryptonite, I'm an OtterBox user for life!

More Style, Less Protection
This case is a less bulky, more stylish alternative to the popular OtterBox Defender. And if the Defender Series case offers a 10 in protection, Zagg's Arsenal case is an 8 or 9. The problem is not with the case itself; it's the screen protector.
While the OtterBox's Defender case offers a built-in shield, Zagg's Arsenal case offers an applied film. As much as the company boasts of its durability, I am not impressed. Contrary to Zagg's advertising, the film does not apply easily. What it does easily is attract lint, trap air bubbles and lift around the edges. In the box, Zagg provides a cloth for drying the device's screen before application of the Invisible Shield, but no alcohol wipe to clean/wash it. Many types of residue, including the faintest hint of a fingerprint, can make the temperamental Invisible Shield lift. Zagg's idea of "case-friendly" is a screen protector that does not cover the entire screen.
Overall, I'd say that Zagg's Arsenal case is more like OtterBox's Commuter than Defender. If you're all thumbs (like me) and have never been good at applying screen protection film, the Arsenal Extreme is probably not for you.
