The Americans: Season 1 New DVD! Ships Fast!

Both Original and Smart

For the most part I do not like dramas. I tend to judge whether or not I like a movie , series, or program on the basis of whether or not it is entertaining.. That being said, I really like this series. The actors, the writers and whom ever came up with the idea.. are to be commended.. All of that in spite of the fact that the protagonists are Russian spies who have infiltrated the U. S. with the intent to do harm.. I find myself rooting for them even though they are the enemy. All of that is because of the clever way the author and or writers put this together.

Clever Premise and Plot lines Way Above Average Acting

I am almost all the way through this season three .. I find the premise that each season is significantly different from those that preceded it both unique and clever. I was unable to record or watch seasons 1 & 2 and on the basis of what I have seen of this program, I am thinking of getting the other seasons as well. If you like Horror stories written above a 3rd grade level this may well be for you. I find most of this genra to be a disappointment.. Not this one..

Years of Experience

I bought one of these years ago and it has performed well... for the most part ... ever since. Every once in awhile I have to get out the head cleaner, but, it seems to cure any problem I might have had.. It is notably faster than the larger and more expensive model it replaced. As far as this particular machine.. I am giving it away as a gift.
