Works well, if brackets fit your cabinet
I wasn't sure exactly what force rating (Newtons/Pounds) to get for my cabinet, since I didn't want to go to the trouble of taking the door off and weighing it. The length was perfect, so I took a chance and installed it per the measurements in the instructions. For lack of a metric ruler, I had to convert the measurements, and the door stayed open slightly below 90 degrees (horizontal). Even after adjusting the upper bracket with elongated holes, it didn't quite open fully straight, but it was close enough for me. I only used one per cabinet, and the second one I installed with both ends slightly closer to the hinge with similar results.
Since the lower bracket is round with 3 holes, I expected it to be tricky to install on the edge of the cabinet frame. My cabinets were overhead kitchen-style, not with flat sides at the edge of the door like in the example photos. With it offset inward and using 2 of the screws (pre-drilling all holes carefully), I was able to get it to attach firmly to the frame and allow the door to close all the way. This offset may be part of the reason it doesn't quite open totally horizontally. It's possible to get flat triangular brackets that fit the face frame edge, but they're in-set even more than these, so they would have to be mounted a bit higher to open far enough.

Does the basics, but doesn't have enough volume to transmit from line out.
It makes a Bluetooth connection and came with most of the cords I needed, but I had to supply my own wall adapter for power. I was able to connect pretty easily using it in transmit mode to some headphones, but the volume was too weak and it doesn't have any way to turn it up. If you're using it to transmit, either you'll need serious boosting at the other end, or you'll want to use a headphone port instead of line-level output.
I didn't test out using it long enough to see how it goes to sleep and how hard it is to wake up.
