One Of My All-Time Favorite Movies
A thoroughly engaging story of a family and other wildly assorted characters on a race-against-time odyssey to bring the homely little pre-teen daughter to a fabulous child beauty and talent contest. On the way they overcome the seemingly insurmountable obstacles of mechanical breakdowns, personal breakdowns, and death. In spite of what I've said, this movie will leave you with a smile on your face and a renewed appreciation for the indomitable human spirit.

Also Fits Great in the Accurate Miniatures P-51C Kit
I bought this item for my Accurate Miniatures P-51C kit, hoping they would fit because I couldn't find any landing gear made for the Accurate Miniatures kit. I found that these fit just fine.
I like to get metal landing gears for my plastic models because the plastic landing gears tend to bend after the finished plane has been sitting on the shelf awhile, giving the plane an unrealistic knock-kneed appearance. The metal gears are soft metal and can be bent by hand to correct any minor alignment problems, but they won't bend under the model's own weight.
My only problem was that the metal tail wheel unit wouldn't conveniently fit in the plastic part's location. (After all, it was made for the Tamiya kit.) I could have rigged something up, but I didn't think it was worth it since the tail wheel gear isn't subject to the bending problem. I used the plastic tail wheel gear in the finished model.

Master Model Parts Are The Greatest
Master Model pitot tubes and gun barrels are one of the greatest helps for aircraft modelers. They are precisely formed of metal and plastic, and they make the corresponding molded parts that come with the kit look crude and clunky by comparison. I get Master Model parts whenever they are available for the plane model I'm working on. The vanes on the Su-25's probe are realistically thin and perfectly formed.
