4 of 4 found this helpful This is the first foil type shaver I have ever owned, having used rotary style for over 50 years. It does a great job, but takes some getting used to. I actually made a minor cut on my chin once by sliding it sideways. I use it dry, but may try it wet eventually. It gives a very close shave quickly, but you need to guide it more carefully over your face than a rotary. It is less omni-directional. I gave it only 4 oit of 5 stars because the user directions are pretty lame. I prefer words along with pictures. In their attempt to make universal instructions that anyone can read, I think they've produced something that no one can easily understand. This saves money at the cost of producing a useful instructional document. Just saying....
