Tune-Up Kit for Echo GT1100/2000 from ihome6 - Great Value
This is a good general purpose kit, and you get a lot for your money. Most places will charge you $6 just for the primer bulb, and with this kit you get two primer bulbs, plus the hoses, grommet, and fittings to totally renew the fuel system on your trimmer. Everything but the air filter was a perfect fit on my 1993 Echo GT1100 trimmer. I needed to replace the fuel lines and tank grommet (included in this kit), which basically made the fuel system brand new and SAFE once more!

Xscorpion 250 AMP 12 volt circuit breaker - Not capable of handling claimed current. Not at all!
I purchased two of these for use with a 12 volt, 2000 watt DC to AC inverter system. The inverter is designed to draw about 160 - 170 A from the battery when it's fully loaded - - but this circuit breaker will cut out after about 30 seconds with only 120 A flowing. Perhaps it's only meant for 250 A "peak" current (like you might see with car audio), but that's far short of the rated 250 A rating claimed for this device, and its packaging is not marked appropriately. Both samples of the product behave pretty much identically.
The product description also claims that it has standard 5/16" terminals. It does not; the terminals are smaller and much lighter duty.
This unit is probably okay for applications not drawing more than 90 to 100 A. It is a thermal circuit breaker, and once it's tripped takes about 20-30 seconds to actually be reset.

Very neat / compact / well-built unit
1 of 1 found this helpful Pros:
1) Well built. The quality is quite good for a product that's only about $200.
2) Looks like it's conservatively built with protections against accidents (such as high SWR on the antenna, overheating, and so forth).
3) Good audio quality - not high end audio, but with care will produce sound just as clean (or cleaner) than the overcompressed FM broadcasts we get in the USA.
4) System reliably retains all settings (frequency, audio level, etc.) so that turn-key, "appliance" operation (just turn on the power) is no problem.
5) Well protected against overheating - you can set warning and protection thresholds for temperature from the front panel. Built-in fan does a great job of keeping things cool.
6) Compact - it's not much bigger than a small book.
7) Built-in electronic (e-pot) controls for line and mic input levels. These levels are remembered when unit is powered down. (Mic input is monaural.)
Cons:
1) Spurs evident within +/- 500 KHz of carrier, spaced at 100 kHz. These are not serious, but do not meet FCC spectral purity requirements (only -40 dBc for the energies within +/- 200 kHz of the carrier). Likely a PLL loop filter mistake.
2) Display backlight doesn't stay on continually - it only illuminates a few seconds after a control has been operated.
3) The front-panel data entry knob is a bit erratic in operation - this isn't a big deal since you'll only be setting this thing once, more of a minor annoyance.
The Verdict:
Nice little unit that performs well and should be pretty much bulletproof.
