Ps2...
Using a PS2 with component cables is a night and day difference to the composite cables that are standard fair with the ps2. Also, some ps2 games are able to output 480p which adds to the fidelity of the graphics and is bonus to using component. Now, graphics are not everything, true BUT, coupled with ps2 gameplay, component cables, specifically the ps3 version, make playing the ps2 in 2018, all the more sweeter. Its too bad sony didnt include the component cables with the system, i think they knew that not many owners would buy them at their expensive $50+ price point, because they the ps2 generation would have lasted twice as long as it. For new comers, tty these shooters if you never played ps2, socom 1,2,3 and allied assault, syphon filter dark mirror and Logan’s shadow, stay far away from the omega strain, also any splinter cell game and the conflict desert storm series, with this game, get ready for some coach coop with a buddy and strategic game play. My long tine friend and i still play this game around winter time when storms start rolling and theres no where to go.

Why these, why now....
I missed the original release of this game. I was a big fan of TR PSONE. I played annivesary on pc. Recently played the new TR with optional tombs, stupid. Recently looked up older TR games i missed in the past and found legend and underworld, luckily i have two ps 2 slims. Great games too add, extremely reasonably priced and they play well. PS 2 is highly recommended with component cables, the ofifcial ps2/3 version. Awesome updated graphics with them, both slims have those cables. Btw, TR is tomb raider and i thought to buy these two since the new third tomb raider is releasing and i wont be buying it, they can keep their optional tombs and optionally shove it.
