Everybodies needs these devices on their electronics.
A Carrington event bankrupted Pacific Gas and Electric with two fires. Paradise, California burned to the ground. I have monitoring equipment for my AC power and the Carrington effect is on my power every day. Surges and brownouts are occurring every few minutes. So the Tripp Lite product is necessary to protect my electronics. The rating for this product were about three times the ratings for other devices.
