They are great when they work. We are on our third. The paddle stopped working on the first two. We had one lid that broke which we replaced and three paddles which broke. We have saved all the bits of the last on in case the new one breaks. I must admit, we don't use it a real lot but we have had each one for a few years.

use as a food supliment
I have had leukemia and lost a lot of weight. I had colon cancer 20 years ago and lost 3 stone. I used these for a year along with my normal meals and gradually put my weight back on. So I am um using them again to do the same thing. ( I hope )
