It was just what I needed
I wanted to connect a high-def TV in another room to my Xfinity X1 box in the bedroom. The cable would need to run along baseboards and around door frames, so a large, stiff RG-6 cable would be a problem. But I found that the device works perfectly with 100 feet of mini RG-59 cable, which was easy to run. With an HDMI splitter plugged into the X1 box, I now have a high-def TV connected in both rooms.

Good Value in a 7000 Series Plug-in Extender
Its construction is very well documented and it works well. I have already used it to troubleshoot and repair a 7A26 amplifier and a 7B53A time base.

Useful directional coupler, works well.
Works as advertised. Cost much less than a new one would. Fills in nicely below the frequency range of the Narda 3045C (7-12.4 GHz). SMA connectors are more convenient than Type N of other couplers.
