Leatherman MUT: A purpose driven tool.
The MUT isn't your typical MT, it is a purpose driven tool for the real world. If you own an AR firearm, this tool is a must for the field and the bench. It incorporates many useful features that come in handy for firearms maintenance. Beyond the firearms usefulness, there are the typical MT tools for general use as well making this a very handy tool and a must-have for every BOB as well.
Sturdy built, tough and durable are words that come to mind when thinking of this tool. It isn't a lightweight tool by any means, it has some heft to it, it weighs in at 11.2 oz or 317.5 g. The MUT & MUT EOD tools both come with a 3/8” Wrench and Front-Sight Adjustment Tool that stores nicely in the back strap of the MOLLE case, aiding in threading the strap into your MOLLE setup.
The only difference between the MUT and the MUT EOD version, the Mut has a pin punch on it and the MUT EOD has a C4 punch it this same location on the tool.
Definitely worth a look but shop around for the best price as they range from great deals to outrageously ridiculous!

SureFire E2D Defender Ultra Dual-Output 600 Lumen LED Flashlight
This is a great lightweight dependable tactical flashlight. Granted SureFire lights are on the expensive side to say the very least but they are without a doubt dependable and the E2D with its strike bezel and the ability to be used to strike with its hilt as well is a added plus. This version runs a 600 lumen update from the 200 lumen version and when compared head to head, literally; I was able to see the difference myself.
The only real limitation to the E2D,as well as any light of this type is the availability of the CR123 power cells that run them. CR123's are not as uncommon as they once were being their use in tactical light usage.
