Perfect
I didn't buy this for drums or anything remotely similar. I just needed the thread size and the flat machined base for another device whose bolts weren't flat.

Great product
My C8 tube is modified with the Feathertouch focuser that juts out much further than the rear cell. However I still managed to fit the whole assembly in just nicely. Well done !

1 of 1 found this helpful In terms of ease of use, construction strength as well as EP quality, they were just as expected, for the price. Great for the moon and larger DSOs. This is a spare unit for me in my hometown where I don't really plan to do much astrophotography, if at all. So field rotation from an Alt-Az mount is not really an issue. I had the very similar SkyWatcher AZ3-GT mount before this which I sold to a friend. This Celestron model will be used with their Star Sense Auto-Alignment doodad, which will help in star alignment.
