Snowblower conversion
I have a John Deere 314 tractor with a 46" single stage snowblower that had a handle in the cab to turn the chute, I found this to be inconvenient but didn't have any way to control it hydraulically, I saw this motor and guessed the speed to be right and it works great, I have a double pole double throw momentary contact switch when activated turns the chute faster than the handle did but still can be stopped where you want and due to the worm drive holds the position until you move it again and has enough torque to handle the job, I have not found any problems with the unit yet.
