Awesome how-to one all aspects of fabric design!

I'm just considering using my cat art for fabric design, so ordered this book based on info on the "Spoonflower" site (lots of good technical info available there, too!). This book really is a good primer for the novice designer, with design fundamentals as well as technical info. Excellent overview of the process. Money well spent!

Wonderful Peppermint Mocha Candle

Wonderful Peppermint Mocha Candle! Unfortunately, I think this is "last year's model," so it's difficult to find. I was happy to get it on Ebay. I usually avoid scented candles, as most have an unpleasantly artifical fragrance. This one was being used at a small shop, and smelled wonderfully of freshly made hot chocolate, so I really wanted one on hand for Christmas. There is nothing artificial about this scent! I wish Bath and Body Works would re-release it!

Lionboy Series: A fabulous read for all ages

The 3-book Lionboy series is a fantastic read!!!! Excellent writing, plot, humor, characters--a new top favorite of mine! Delightful and out of the ordinary. I am an artist and writer who loves young adult books, as I find them far more imaginative than most adult selections. The quality and detail in this book--including wonderful map illustrations, and even sheet music for songs referenced (there is actually a cd available!) add to the overall excellence.And of course, the ANIMALS!!!!!
