The Frame is Nylon

I purchased a lesser quality one like this that was made of the traditional metal frame that bent and broke easily. Not this one. It is made of nylon plastic which will flex more easily rather than bend and breaking. It puts out beautiful soft light.

Must Have for Speedlight Enthusiasts

This is a "must have" for any speedlight user. It produces a round spot of light in such a small snoot. I had a plastic book folder that was semi frosted. I cut it up into the round disk shape of the grids. Now I can produce a round spot of varying sizes with a rectangular speed light head! So I don't need a round head speedlight. I have purchased 5 of them! Make sure you get the newest series. As the earlier generations do not have the elastic straps on the sides to hold the grid in place. But if you end up with one of those, use rubber bands! Enjoy 😉

Nice product, But the Velcro is Weak

The product does the job and for the most part, it's well thought out. However, the velcro is not that good and the strap which has the velcro is pretty short. Out of everything about this product, this is the weakest point. I can see this portion failing very soon under heavy use.
