Accuracy
I found that it is critical to be perpendicular to the surface you measuring, both horizontally and vertically. This can be difficult when you are taking a measurement of a 3 story building. Additionally, taking any picture with a cell phone in bright sunlight is difficult because the screen can't be seen. These two problems made the measurements very inaccurate. I had to stand on a ladder and I had to wait for dusk to really get reliable results.
