Definitely solid and stable. Easy to mount a vice in any direction. Had to tighten everything but that is to be expected. My only issue is it’s nearly impossible to read the dial on my adjustment knobs, but that’s not a deal breaker

Anti Fog Up True Color Solar Power Auto Darkening Welding Helmet Weld Hood

The auto darkening and electronics work well and is among the best I’ve used on that respect. I really liked the sensitivity control and the helmet was comfortable. I really liked the true color. Now for the bad……. The “anti-fog” is a joke, this thing fogs easier than any other welding helmet I’ve ever used. If you sweat even slightly then don’t expect to be able to see without constantly cleaning the inside lens. The second bad part is the durability, it can’t survive a 5 foot fall, my cat knocked my helmet off it’s hook and a 5 foot fall busted the clips that hold the auto darkening unit in place rendering the helmet completely useless. I’ve dropped even the cheapest harbor freight helmets off the roofs with no problems. So I got a month out of this flimsy thing. So in conclusion if you want something cheap for light bench welding and you weld periodically then this is a nice unit……. But if you sweat or are into serious welding or have a cat then this isn’t for you. The durability just isn’t there if there is a chance you will be bumping it around.
