Learn what happens in labor so you can relax and enjoy it!
When I first got pregnant and realized I would have to go through labor, I was scared. This book explains in medical terms, then in understandable terms what happens in each stage of labor. Once I read how so many different layers of muscle all have specialized tasks to get the baby born, I understood that I could just allow each set to do its job. I honestly can say that my first child was born with only one pin-prick of pain as she crowned, my second and third were born at home with no pain at all. This book will explain how resisting the processing, fearing the experience and trying to control or stop it will cause pain. Do not think that working muscles wont be tired or strained, they will be! A woman in "labor" is working all these different layers of muscle and it will be tiring, even exhausting! This book so helped me approach the birthing process with confidence and understanding, that I could also approach it with peace. I've sent a copy to my daughter-in-law who is expecting!

And his sense of justice and training in the Army combine to give us the most interesting stories ever heard! Thank you, "Lee Child" for an endearing and fascinating character everyone can relate to.
