Excellent lens shade
Can be mounted backwards for storage and allows lens cap to fit on in either direction. I am using on a Sigma DP3 works great.

Great little camera
This a great camera, I find people don't get crazy when you bring out this camera because it looks like a point and shoot. I have high end DSLRs , people act different when I bring them out. The picture quality on this camera is just a good as my DSLR but in a compact package. With the LX-3 you can have total control or just acts like a point an shoot, it is up to you.I find I am more creative with this camera. The focal length of the lens makes you move in closer no big telephoto here, just very wide to a normal lens. I highly recommend this camera. I have been shooting pictures for about 40 years and have used a wide variety of cameras the LX-3 is high on my list of favorites.
