Disappointing
1 of 1 found this helpful I first saw "A Christmas Memory" and thought this was another book by the same author, but as it turned out, it is the same story basically, but kind of a continuation of A Christmas Memory. The little boy from the first movie goes on to military school and it tells the story of his father in this version. The names are the same, as it is Suke (played by Julie Harris, where as Patty Duke was in A Christmas Memory!) and the boy is a different actor. He isn't as good as in the first movie, but does a good job as Buddy! It is worth viewing, but just not as well done as A Christmas Memory, at least in my humble opinion!

A good kind of "Frenzy!"
I like anything & everything by Hitchcock! It isn't in the same category as The Man Who Knew Too Much or Rear Window, but it is entertaining and I enjoyed the actors they chose for the parts. :)

Very Good Movie!
I enjoyed it, although I liked You Were Never Lovelier better; it had some great songs and dance numbers and that is important to me! Surprised that Rita Hayworth was such a great dancer!
