Nice upgrade for an older desktop.
Nice and affordable (and pretty significant) upgrade to the 8100 series I had in the board. Should let me get a few more years out of a nearly 12 year old system that can still run games with--maybe not the best of them anymore but certainly in the upper levels.
The system was already maxed out on RAM, swapped its mechanical HDD for an SSD, and added this processor and it runs better than some of the newer i5 and Ryzen processors.
