There is NO such thing as History......read review.....
There is NO such thing as History.... there are however Historical ACCOUNTS.
Histories have been written, morphed, demonized and glorified as a product of human, and only human assessment. [Even though your dog knows EXACTLY when to wake you in the morning to go outside- and/or be fed... he has no wristwatch (actually a paw-watch) or sense of chronological time].
Only humans can assign importance to various and varied events and place this information in timely order of importance. However- which events are History Worthy?
H G Wells' History of the World starts with Creation (read this captivating Historical account to find Well's definition of "Creation.)" and leads us through the centuries of WAR accounts (as do many histories) to "present day."
Talk show hosts, politicians, and other narrow thought provocateurs are quick to point out specific events and actions which supports and "PROVE" their narrow interpretations of historic significance . I personally find this point of view potentially dangerous to our free thought culture... which brings me to
A People's History of the United States and Howard Zinn.
Early U S Histories have been written without or at least with lacking regard for humanization of Native Americans. Similarly, African Americans have endured similar lack of consideration as part of the American legacy. Howard Zinn puts influence of people, into his historical accounting. The significance of Zinn's work breathes life into the shape, shaping and telling of American History.
The colloquiums "History repeats itself" or "We learn from our mistakes" (debatable), takes on many dimensions with Zinn's literary crafting .
In these days of sound bites, twitters, brainwashing television/radio "entertainers," faux ideas, and Bizzaro politician declarations passing as thought, it is refreshing to read a telling of our story which brings in the human element (not to be confused with the oil company ad campaign's definition), where "Reagan" is not a buzzword for "all that is good" in America, and where "Jefferson" is a person not a declarative meaning: an historical “someone” who would have been against and abhorred by the work of our current President.
Just read or study and/or flip through Howard Zinn's Historical account- decide for yourself, after all- This is STILL America... you should own your thoughts.
Afterthought: Howard Zinn passed away just a year or so ago- he has published many other books- avail yourself of his work- he is missed .

Inexpensive works with MAC (at least my OS X v10.11.3)
Not the high end, manual focus, and limited software manipulation, but all in all a good little inexpensive cam for chat or experimental use (put it in the frig, boiling H2O -its cheap, if you break it just get another).
Logitech is not known for its MAC support so be wise and research first.
I use it when I don't feel like getting my expensive vid equipment out.(chat, dog shots etc.)
With Low res it is not bogged down while chatting, used it on G Hangouts - nice to be more obscure
Shipping time and product came FAST! and was well protected.
