simply beautiful
in my opinion, his best album. the first 5 songs are good. #5, simply beautiful, is amazing. '#6 pretty woman' meh, but 7 through 9 are good as well. one of these good old days (#9) is a good song, and ends the album well. his greatest hits album would be the only one i would put up against this one. al's voice and the production team put their weight on this one! if you like early 70s R&B , get this album.

nice album
good album, good songs. a nice album to listen to start to finish. the songs seem to have the same smooth flow to them. the 2001 legacy reissue has an additional 5 songs, but their tempo and style is compatible with the rest of the album. i like this album, if you are and EWF fan i think you will like it as well. 'on your face', 'getaway' and 'saturday night' are the more familiar songs, you may not know the other songs but i think you will like them. if someone asked me about this album i would say, buy it.

buy it.
my favorite michael jackson album, i like it better than thriller. i said what i said. i didn't realize it was the 'deluxe' cd with interviews with rod temperton and quincy jones. it also included home demos of don't stop til you get enough and working day and night, an added bonus. great purchase for the price. a welcome addition to any collection. if you like michael you won't be sorry you purchased it. this album put him on the path to beome the king of pop.
