Excellent for permanently mounting items

I use these for mounting souvenir sheets into my stamp album. They work very well for this. They do have a small outside border (about 1/8 inch) so you need to have that much extra mounting surface. These are very thin, which I prefer over the polypropylene corners. Mine did not come in the paperboard box shown; instead they were in a thin plastic package. As others have stated, these are very sticky. They will stick to your fingers, and they will permanently stick to the first other surface that they touch. Be very careful when handling. Since my items to be mounted are very flexible, the way I use them is to carefully place two of them onto corners of the item to be mounted. Then, I mount the item. Then I gently curl up one of the remaining corners, place the mount onto the corner, and affix it to the mounting surface. Repeat for the last corner. I have found this technique works very well. If the item to be mounted is small, you may be able to get by with only using 2 of these on opposite corners. Using my technique above, you can evaluate if only 2 corners securely hold your item. Because I only started using these a few weeks ago, I don't know the long term stability of the adhesive. Hopefully, it won't discolor the paper mounting surface after 10 or 20 years. Has anyone used these for a long time and can comment? All in all, I am sold on these and will continue to buy them, unlike all of the other corners I have purchased.
