Quieter than i thought it would be
3 of 4 found this helpful After it was delivered i pulled it out of the box and it arrived safe with no damage. I followed all the instructions and I put on the wheels and the handles, put oil in it and hooked up the battery and hooked it up to my propane tank. The battery was good and it fired up right way and runs like a swiss watch. it was even quieter than i thought it would be. I tried to on some power tools and it worked great. I am a musician and i have a pretty big PA so i thought i would see how much gear it could handle. I pugged in about 5000 watts of gear and with no signal it handled it until i turned up the volume. the generator was working hard but did not quit and did not trip the beaker but i knew it was having a hard time so i turned off the subs and lowered the wattage load down to about 3000 and cranked up the volume till my ears hurt and the XP4850EH just purred like a kitten. This thing runs great! But when pulling the generator our of the box i noticed a pretty strong chemical odor but i assumed it would go away after it sat out a few days. i have had it a couple weeks now and the odor is not going away. I had to leave outside as it stunk up my garage real bad. the chemical odor is coming from the rubber tires and the handle grips . if fact when you move it around by the handles the smell gets on your hands and it takes three washings to get the smell off. I don't know what they are made of but if the smell doesn't go away soon i and going to have to buy new tires and handle grips. Other than that i love this thing

Great Cables
I own quite a few of these now and find them real good for live and studio applications. Real good quality at bargain prices, how can you go wrong with that?
