Weber Thermometer Gets the Job Done
This product works as advertised in providing instant reads on grilled items' internal temperatures. It is precise enough to correctly indicate ranges of rare, medium, etc. The display is large enough to be readable and has F/C scale choices plus auto shut off.
The probe is long enough to properly pierce the item being grilled but your hand gets pretty close to the heats - a grilling glove might be needed by sensitive folks. The plastic head (encloses the displsy) is plastic that can melt if exposed to too much high heat. Clean up is easy - just wipe off the probe - but don't get the control head wet.
I have no problem recommending this product as it is a big help to me in getting grill items to exactly the stage of doneness
