Nice unit! Not double-boxed, but very well packed and cushioned. Included were some cables and adapters that were not expected. Just be aware this only runs on Windows XP

The manual is useful but it is only compatible with Windows systems up to XP. In order to use it on a "modern" computer you need to install XP Mode, an XP emulator which runs within your current system. This is a lot more work than just installing the software but once installed it did pretty much work and had some useful information in it though it is far from a complete "factory service manual".

Try something else for gold coin storage

These holders are too tight for $20 gold coins. They get stuck in them and I had to break them to get the coins out. Useless waste of time and money.

Very pleased with this magnifier, works great!

I can't believe there are people who nit-pick a $17 (including shipping) item that does everything it is supposed to do and does it very well but when I read the reviews for this magnifier it is clear that those people are just impossible to please. I replaced a terrible version of this with this magnifier and it works so much better. Nice, adjustable headband too. And the light is great. All in all well worth the price and it came in just a couple of days so was shipped fast too.
