Completely satisfying substitute for salt
1 of 1 found this helpful Sea salt is one ingredient of approximately 17 additional natural seasoning flavors. For most foods, the taste is so much more satisfying than that of salt. If one is accustomed to salt alone as a condiment, it may take a week or so to become accustomed to and prefer the taste of "original" Spike. Original Spike is my favorite seasoning.

Last Streamliners through the Rockies
This video is a bit of an enigma. It could have been an interesting recollection of the California Zephyr between Denver and Salt Lake City. Instead it was a boring compilation of the C.Z. entering and leaving an inordinate number of tunnels, leaving the majority of this scenic rail trip uncovered. The video quality of the 16 mm film was poor. Perhaps the films did not lend themselves to a better restoration quality. The most interesting portion was, however, the Royal Gorge section even with the relatively poor restoration of the 16 mm film. The quality of the disc filmed with a video camera was fine but not presented interestingly - too many long distance shots, not enough closeups. It's nice to obtain an overall distance perspective but not to the almost total exclusion of closeup views. If the viewer wishes a partial historical record of the original C.Z. journey as well as the Royal Gorge line, then the disc possesses value. But do not expect to be wowed by the 16 mm film restoration.
