Not practical; requires complex setup.

This product is not practical at all, requiring a rather complex setup and unreliable performance. There are Smartphone apps available free or at low cost that do a better job of receiving information from many more sources, which is what many potential users of these units want them for. I returned the entire product and its attachments.

Logitech Ambidextrous Trackman Marble Trackball Mouse

Comfortable,and Worthwhile

I have one of these on each of my two computers and one spare I take with me when I'll be using a different computer. It is an exceptional product: comfortable, easy to use, east to maintain by just removing the trackball, brushing out any accumulated dust from the cradle and optical scanner, and giving the ball a once-over with computer screen-cleaner (at same time as giving the screen a quick swipe; efficient use of cleaner sheets). The body of the mouse is long enough to provide a good hand-rest while using it. Never had any fatigue, even after long hours of use. I hope this product, in this configuration, never goes out of production.
