Basically your own radio station in your own car.
This is by far one of the most cheap and advanced frequency modulators out there for vehicles. Now granted you can use your own hardware or accessories to enhance your product experience, which for me I used my own 3.5mm cable because it was the best to fit for my smart phone and feels nicer. What I don't really like is how the buttons on the side feel too close or too sensitive to operate accidentally when you handle the device around the screen; however, the remote that came with the product makes it a lot easier to operate and control the device. One thing I wish it did was jump to a specific frequency instead of pressing the forward or backward button many times to set the desired frequency, like I wanted it to go to 88.5 for example, but I couldn't simply press the numbers to jump to that frequency. I like the LCD screen, it reminds me of the old flip phones or portable gaming devices with that screen. Yes, the only way of displaying the information via RDS is to use a flash media like a USB storage or SD card. And no, using a 3.5mm jack will not transmit RDS, although the best part is: it transmits in true stereo. Another thing about it in specific I don't like is how bulky it is when I can plug it in front of the center console, but with my car (2004 Pontiac Grand Prix) I can only shift it to drive and not any other gears below it, which is sort of an inconvenience for me. Otherwise, it's great.

cons:
* Can be bulky and physically interfere with driving
* Does not transmit very far
* Freezes up sometimes
* Sometimes transmits garbled text on radio
