Accurate and very smooth watch…
The key feature of this watch is the highly accurate quartz movement which powers the second hand around the dial more smoothly than just about any other watch movement whether mechanical or quartz. Note that the bezel of this watch does not rotate like a dive watch, despite the similarity in appearance. As of this date, I would consider a purchase of this model or similar version, preowned, under $200 to be a good value. You may find similar Precisionists priced as low as $100, but verify the wear and tear on the watch as well as your preferred version to make your decision between those price points. And note that the crystal is made of mineral glass.

For looks, simplicity, rugged design, and affordability this is a good purchase to make.
Basic rugged field watch with a bit of flair in its styling. With the fixed strap bars, this watch will likely never let go of its strap, which is also quite rugged. And you have many choices of NATO or Zulu straps. Lume is bright for an inexpensive watch, and hands and markings on dial (but not numbers— not lumed) are easy to read after several hours. This model has very visible hands for daytime use, too. I like that the case comes up over the level of the crystal to give some extra protection. The seconds hand was not aligned and was ticking between seconds, almost midway between them. This is something that can be done right with a little bit of effort, so, I was disappointed that it was not assembled to tick more closely. Having some experience with this, I made the adjustment myself. If I had bought new, I might have returned. Opening up a watch reveals some things, and the movement being used is a slightly upgraded small Miyota movement with better accuracy, gold plating, and a protected electric coil compared to its plain Jane sister. I believe it is a common sized movement and could be replaced inexpensively once the warranty period passes in case there was ever a problem. The movement ring was a good fit and the case back fits very snugly. I was a bit disappointed again to see the etching of a thumbprint on the back of the dial from improper handling of the dial during assembly. And I am not sure what the case finishing is on my model. It appeared to be bead blasted but it looks like a protective coating was added. Looks fine except on the case between the lugs.

Big, handsome, stylish, but poor lume.
This is a very handsome watch with a very large case. Lug to lug is about 53mm. I have just under a 7 inch wrist and I needed a NATO style band to get a good fit. Very, very nice styling. I returned the item because I needed something with good lume. The lume was barely visible after a few minutes of being under a bright flashlight. But if that is not important to you, then don't let it hold you back. Nice piece.
