Best iPad Case ever
I would say, for the money, this is the best Zagg case for iPad I owned. I owned several ZAGG and other brands of case + keyboard, but this case is by far, the best combination of design, style, utility and ease of use.
The magnetic hinge that let's you remove the iPad from the keyboard, while still keeping it safe in the case is ingenious. The previous models did not allow me to detach the iPad from the keyboard without having to take out the iPad from the case. Of course, that is when I drop it on the floor and damage the iPad.
The lesson here is that you never, ever want to take iPad out of protective case! So, this model let's me keep it in the case, yet allows me to detach from the keyboard. This is truly the best of both worlds. The design may be influenced by Microsoft Surface, which allows you to detach the type cover from the magnetic hinge, but I don't personally care they they drew their inspirations, it just works.
My only request is that I would like a little more protection of iPad around the corners. I can see it happening already, if I accidentally drop the iPad with the plastic shell, iPad will probably sustain some damage. It may even pop out of the plastic shell on impact. I hope I never have to find out, but from my past experience with similar designs, including ZAGG, that the drop from even 3 feet can sustain some damage.
I am wondering if I can have a more rugged design with better edge protection, similar to Otter or Balistic with rubberized edges, with the same magnetic hinge design.

Good for on-the-road and emergencies
Honestly, I am a little disappointed. I do, however, recommend it for road warriors without hotel or any other WiFi hotspot options. It it is also useful in an emergency when the land line based Internet is down. I am disappointed on a couple of areas. First is that the battery overheats easily. Once the battery overheats, the charging stops. You have to cool it before the battery can be charged again. The second point is that the AT&T coverage is not great in many areas. The places that I traveled only had one bar. Even with one bar, I got about 5 Mbps. The max speed I measured was about 56 Mbps download, and 12 Mbps upload when I have about 4 bars on the signal. That’s fine for one device, but not enough for a family with multiple devices. The unlimited plan from AT&T throttles the speed. I got the plan from Technowzie for true unmilited plan. Its a bit expensive at $180 for just one month. The price goes down for $160 per month on auto pay. Its worth it for those who are on the road a lot.

Great Portable Monitor
1 of 2 found this helpful This is a great 2nd monitor that does not require external power source. The power is delivered via single USB-2 or USB-C cable. That is all you need to hook it up to a laptop. You need to install a DisplayLink driver to use it. It is small enough and thin enough to carry it along with my laptop.
I am thrilled to have a 2nd monitor while traveling with my laptop. However, I just wished that it had a higher resolution. The main laptop I have has 2256 x 1504. The ASUS ZenScreen has 1920 x 1080. It is good enough for an HD movie viewing, but for me to be really productive using the monitor all day long while on the road, I would like to have a higher resolution. When extending the desktop, the drop in resolution is really noticeable.
When a higher resolution version comes out, I am definitely going to upgrade to a new version.
