Simple. Elegant.
I’ve been a photographer for thirty years, but never went to the Arca-Swiss mount until now. This unit was a very nice introduction for me. Since it is used, it may explain a slight glitch in the unit. This one’s clamp will get out of adjustment once every 5 or so uses. I can almost tell when it will slip before I lock down the clamp. If I don’t catch it, it will be difficult to disengage. I’m sure it’s because of poor handling by a previous user. I don’t expect the glitch from another other unit. Definitely a piece of kit worth owning. If you’re starting out and plan to go pro, I recommend getting A-S right from the start. It’s ubiquitous. Also be sure to get plates that are uniform in dimension.

Better than the original tips
My mother’s cane needed new rubber tips. She was hoping for an improvement on the old ones and these were just that. They are larger and thicker than the original, and are a perfect fit.

Good part to have
More and more devices have the rosette built-in, which makes it important to have the option of this attachment available.
