My mechanic is replacing it.
0 of 1 found this helpful My vw mechanic is literally replacing this brand new distributor that I installed with a 009 Bosch. I've read conflicting reviews on Vacuum vs. centrifugal but apparently my mechanic isn't thinking this distributor is worth much. Something is shorting out the points but it may be the coil (which was also aftermarket). It pays to get genuine parts for your vw. I'm just bummed cause I'm out the price of this distributor and the new (new) one, too.

Good little saw.
This is a great little saw for what it is. Don't expect it to power through with mega power but is really handy around the jobsite for ripping plywood and other small cuts. The bigger the battery the longer the run time so consider your amperage. Can cut through a 2x just got go slow. But all in all a great saw.
