You Need One of These

Really handy to inspect locations that you cannot otherwise see readily. Look down spark plug holes. Look down drains and sewer pipes, Look at the inside of your chimney. Find dropped parts and tools inside of your project. I drilled a 1/4" hole in the drywall to see what was making a noise behind the shower tub enclosure. Can you do your own internal endoscopic exam? Not really, because you would need to inflate yourself with carbon dioxide to get viewing space, but you can look at your dental work, or that itchy spot on your back. The closest focus is about one inch from the end of the device. The built in illumination is pretty good, with colors sometimes a bit off. Yes this camera works with Linux too. Just use "Cheese" or whatever web-cam application that your distribution supports. Photo is from the scope aimed at my video monitor, while writing the review. Camera seems to be "reasonably watertight", but no guarantees that you can submerge it.

Nice Kit, But Every Pump has Limitations

Described as: SEAFLO 12V 5.0 GPM 70 PSI Washdown Pump Kit. This is accurate, but you need to know the pump will not deliver 5.0 GPM @ 70PSI. I know it sounds like I contradicted myself. What the specifications mean is: The pump will pump 5.0 GPM into an "open hose" (pretty much 0 PSI) and it will pump 70 PSI into a "blocked hose" (essentially 0 GPM). So it would be reasonable to expect maybe 3.0 GPM @ 18 PSI, or maybe 1.5 GPM @ 45 PSI, and any of this requires about 17 amps of current from the 12 Volt power source. Less current at lower flow rates and lower pressure settings.
