Awesome for the price
Fast lens for a ridiculous price, clickless aperture works like a charm as does the focus ring, a bit stiff but completely worth it for how little it costs. Quality wise this things built like a tank (i've had it fall to the floor twice without any damage). Its a soft lens on 1.7 and also has some artifacts and aberrations (although it does get pretty sharp in the center when stepped down a bit), i use it mostly for detail shots and extreme closeups when i want to get that ethereal look. The included accesories all have been useful, specially the hood lens in case you want to avoid the sometimes extreme flaring (although i really like its effect).

Great accesory
This connectors fits nicely in v-mount receivers. Are well made. I been using this connectors to made DIY supports for power supplies and I'm very happy with the results.

Works fine
I tested this softbox on litepanels astra. Fits well. Would be better if rear straps could be adjusted more, maybe repositioning the velcros on them. The distance from source to diffuser is large enough, so provides a nice soft light. Overall construction is fine. The diffuser is about 3/4 stop. You could see the source through it, so you get nice soft light but a hot spot as well.
