Every time THIS bell rings....nothing happens.
The material is extremely cheap and given that the story is about a bell RINGING, it ought to have a pretty ring. It doesn't at all.

Encyclopedia of Universal Potteries
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a wonderful pictorial record of the many items produced by Universal Potteries in Cambridge, Ohio, in the first half of the 20th century. It is well laid out, with excellent pictures, and is a great resource for anyone who loves old dishes. My only complaint, and this may not be the fault of the author, is that there are few dates noting when certain lines came into being. Otherwise, I strongly recommend it.
