A Game That Furthers the Genre
If you like RPGs and own a PC or an XBox, chances are you've played Bioware's Star Wars epic, Knights of the Old Republic (KOTR).
The game takes you back to 4000 years before the crap that was the Phantom Menace, and the Genius that was the Empire Strikes Back.
KOTR puts in the seat of a young Jedi without a past, revisiting familiar planets and divulging the player in everything Star Wars from Cantinas to Battleships.
But what makes KOTR so compelling, is not the very intuitive and easy to use controls and gameplay, but the story.
You can't help but feel connected to our hero as his tale unfolds; and with perhaps the biggest twist in video game history, you'll be sitting in front of your screen saying out loud, "Holy Shit..."
KOTR is a game to keep and replay every few years when the Star Wars bug comes creeping back around, which it always does, and if this game can't satisfy it, nothing can.
Unlike the sequel which tried too hard to build on a story already told, KOTR will go down as one of my favorite RPGs of all time, even able to steal away game time from your MMORPG just to get your fix.

Legit
This is a legit toy. It's hefty. Durable. More like a working prop replica than a kids toy. Nice product :)
