Cheap and sturdy wall mount

The wall mount was cheap and easy to install. Less than half the price of a wall mount with similar features in retail stores. We didn't really need a wall mount that extended and tilts, but it is nice to be able to pull TV forward to get easy access to ports. Mount is sturdy and easy to install. We have a 50" Samsung TV mounted to it.

You get what you pay for

The Steel Series Nimbus controller I bought had 3 defects. The first was a ribbon cable, that prevented it from being turned on. The second was left analog stick would cause character to move in a direction you were not pressing. The third is the A button not working. Luckily problem was not with the battery, because I couldn't find a single place to buy replacement batteries. I was able to diagnose problems, but I needed to buy a brand new Steel Series Nimbus to isolate problem with the as-is Nimbus controller. It took swapping parts one by one till I figured out what was causing AS-IS controller to not turn on. Problem was with ribbon cable connection was corroded. Description says controller is not tested, but it had a refurbished sticker on it leading me to believe it was tested. I feel like I lucked out on the controller. I was able to fix the problem with it turning on and the left analog stick problem. Turning off controller and back on seems to remedy the left analog stick problem. I still have to take controller apart to see if I can fix A button, but can live without it for now. Would I recommend an AS-IS Nimbus controller? No, save yourself the headache and buy a working used one or a new one.

Adds HDMI out to old laptop

If you want HDMI out on an older computer or laptop that only has VGA out, you should buy this. There is a 3.5mm audio input so you can pass sound to TV speakers, but 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable is not included. Picture is clear on TV. Bottom and top of TV image is slightly cropped. Not sure where to make adjustments yet. It feels a little warm after a short use. Not sure if that will affect long term use. Make sure description says VGA to HDMI out and not HDMI to VGA. They don't usually go both ways.
