My favorite binocular.
1 of 1 found this helpful Since I bought it, I keep reaching for it more and more often than for my earlier favorite, more expensive Bushnell. It just feels better, picture is good quality, barrels are perfectly aligned, easy to focus, comfortable to hold, not that heavy, and you can still see details in poorer light. It might have smaller eye pupil, but it is acceptable trade-off for other more important parameters.

Works as described.
Excellent value for the money. Everything works (including night vision) as described. Product arrived in mint condition. There is room for improvement on sound quality, camera light sensitivity, WiFi range (it works best when not further than about 10 feet from the router without obstacles), but overall it is very well developed product and quite reliable. Initially I was disappointed, but after playing with it for few days, I started discovering how to make proper use of all its features one at a time.
Initial setup can be done in many ways, but I found WiFi hot spot through Android RMON app the most convenient. You have to avoid tempting assumption that the app can connect to the IP camera, when your phone cannot. First you have to go to your phone's WiFi settings and manually connect to the camera hot spot (long cryptic SSID starting with letter "Y"), and then start RMON app. The camera clock will be detected by it instantly.
Other wrong assumption is that the night vision gets activated automatically. You have to turn these 10 lamps manually through the RMON app (tap icon resembling light bulb while watching the life video). They are not going to emit any visible light, but they will enable the camera to see in complete darkness (not too far though).
The bottom line is that this product does what it should. Just don't have too high expectations, because it is not an expensive device for professional use. It is still more like a toy, but it can be quite useful around home, especially when you have small kids, pets, uninvited visitors, or you just want to watch over those who service your property while you are away.

Just like from retail stores, but for better price.
I don't see any difference between this and any other more expensive.
