Lotus Shape Incense Burner Holder Censer Plate For Stick Cone With 9 Holes FT
May 24, 2019
Pretty but Tiny
So the photo makes your mind think it’s bigger than it is....🧐....it’s really pretty and priced well. Made of a cheap aluminum type metal (looks like a pretty copper) and very lite weight....so lite weight that it cannot hold the type of stick incense with the wooden stick (unless you turn the incense upside down or cut the stick to balance it). For $1 it’s worth buying if you want a small incense burner. Very pretty and affordable.

Magical Vintage Large Tree of Life Leather Blank Book Diary Journal 200 Pages

Great rustic journal
For a rustic leather journal, I think it’s lovely. It does not look like the photo, it is a flat design that is lightly stamped into the leather (you can see an accurate photo in other postings of this item). As a journal for calligraphy, drawing, writing, it is really pretty and such a great price! Mine had 78 pages, so 156 front and back. The paper is unlined, thicker than standard paper, has a slight texture to it (like a window screen) which might cause your ink to bleed a little bit if used for calligraphy. Leather is thick and stiff, but as a rustic journal, I think it’s charming! I’ll put photos of a letter written with a fountain pen.....front and back cover.

Tibetan Thangka Painting : Methods & Materials
Apr 23, 2019
Great Resource!
Book is a wonderful introduction to Tibetan Thangka painting. It covers traditional methods but also gives modern alternatives for supplies that might be hard to find in the appendix. It gives the complete grid measurements for six classes of deities, with alternative measurements in some cases. It also has drawings of each grid. There are also many examples of background motifs and there is illustrations on almost every page. My only criticism of this book is that there are no color pictures...which would have been nice but since images of thangka’s are readily available online, it’s a minor concern. It’s the perfect book for anyone interested in painting a thangka for the first time or for someone who just wants to learn more about them. Just what I was looking for!
