ok for people who like princess movies
0 of 1 found this helpful I remember seeing this movie in theaters and loved it as a kid. I watch it now as an adult and I don't care for it anymore. I am sure kids will love it. It has one good song in this whole entire movie. The rest is more annoying. I only like very few characters and the rest are either very annoying or stereotyped. In this cartoon, the little girl is lost and then many characters fall in love with her and force her to marry them. They try and make her feel guilty if she doesn't marry them and they don't take no for an answer, which is what I do not care for. The prince saves her and they get married. It's a Don Bluth movie, but not one of his best.

Good morals!
0 of 3 found this helpful I didn't care for some of the characters and some of the music, but for the most part it's ok. The message for kids is good. The message: Follow your dreams, work hard and you can achieve it, and don't let anyone get in the way to achieve it. Finally Disney has message where a woman is not boy crazy and not dependent on a man. I would have liked seeing an African American princess in the whole entire movie and her not as a frog, but that is the movie. She holds her own well as the prince is a loafer. She teaches him hard work and not to be lazy. My nieces love it!
