This item doesn't work properly
1 of 2 found this helpful I was able to get my Pc to recognize it after installing vJoy drivers but it seems to not sync at all with my gamecube controllers. This is just some third party item and found a post of someone talking about this same item and experiencing same problems.
I have a Wii u as well and I couldn't get it to sync on it at all.
Buy a mayflash adapter to save yourself the trouble as it's official and easy compat.
