Great product but needs a fresh battery weekly

I didn't (and still don't) know much about the technology but chose this product based on a well written and technically accurate description. Missing was the fact that this device needs to be coddled to work as described. The battery I used first was a brand new Panasonic, and it worked a few times, then the device failed. Repeatedly. I tried the hotwire backup which provided zero help. After researching the tech I learned it works well within a narrow voltage range. Not with cheap or weak batteries. So what I've done is pull the battery after every test. Not a big deal when you consider the price, but something I had to figure out, and is annoying. I nearly threw it away. Still might, but thought this might help others.

Not bad, but ill-fitting case

Can't get the two-piece case to fit together well. I've had more than 10 similar cases and this was the first to be so difficult. Hopefully yours will be better.

Sturdy, easily assembled, versatile

Perfect base to build my office space around. Anything that comes in a flat box is a gamble (imho), but seems like a jackpot. It's stable, and aside from a short screw for the CPU base all parts were there. I'll add filing cabinets or drawers for underneath and have plenty of desktop space for anything like a tv or computer.
